Kia recalls 308,000 vehicleโs due to potential fire hazard

Ford recalling popular pick-up trucks because front windshields could pop out
HOUSTON โ If you drive a Ford F150 or Super Duty pick-up truck, your front windshield could pop out. The automaker is recalling 80,000 F-150 trucks that were built at the Dearborn truck plant and Super Duty pickup trucks built at its Kentucky plant between last October and February 2021. In the event of a crash, Ford says the windshield may not stay in place because itโs not properly bonded to the vehicle. Be on the lookout for the recall notice from Ford in early April 2021.

Nearly 190,000 ceiling fans recalled because blades detach, fly off
More than 190,000 have been recalled because the blades were detaching while in use. There is a recall on the Mara ceiling fan in matte white, matte black, black, and polished nickel finishes. King of Fans, the Florida company that made the fans, says it received 47 reports of the blades disconnecting. According to CNN, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission said two of those reports said a detached fan blade hit someone. If you have this fan, you are urged to immediately stop using it and contact the company for a replacement.

She said she parked her 2016 Nissan Murano at the community mailboxes in her Texas City neighborhood and started walking home after her ABS light came on. Even if they had, Nissan said there is still no fix for the problem that could cause the fires in 394,000 vehicles. (CNN) โ Parents take note: GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare has voluntarily recalled three lots of its children's cough syrups โ Children's Robitussin Honey Cough and Chest Congestion DM and Children's Dimetapp Cold and Cough โ due to the products having incorrect dosing cups in their packaging. GlaxoSmithKline found that the cups for Children's Robitussin Honey cough syrup were missing lines for the 5-milliliter and 10-milliliter graduations and the cups for Children's Dimetapp were missing the 10-milliliter graduation. Honda recalls nearly a quarter-million minivans due to fire risk
DETROIT โ Honda is recalling 241,000 Odyssey minivans in the U.S. to fix a wiring problem that could cause a fire. The recall covers EX-L, Touring and Elite minivans from the 2018 through 2020 model years. The company says the wiring harness running to a third-row power outlet may have been pinched and damaged during manufacturing. Honda said Tuesday that owners will be notified of the recall by mail in mid-March. If the wiring harness is damaged, it will be replaced.
Popular stroller sold on Amazon, Target recalled due to fall hazard
HOUSTON โ A popular baby stroller sold on Amazon and Target is under recall after new reports that the strollerโs hinge joints can release and collapse. Baby Trend said the recall affects four of its Tango Mini Strollers after they posed a fall hazard for children in the stroller. The recalled strollers were sold in Target stores and online and on Amazon between October 2019 and November 2019. Each stroller has its own model number and is identifiable by a uniquely colored bonnet top sold in Quartz Pink (Model Number ST31D09A), Sedona Gray (Model Number ST31D10A), Jet Black (Model Number ST31D11A), and Purest Blue (Model Number ST31D03A). Consumers are asked to stop using the stroller immediately and contact Baby Trend for a replacement or full refund.
GM recalls 814K pickups, cars to fix brake, battery problems
DETROIT โ General Motors is recalling more than 814,000 pickup trucks and cars in the U.S. to fix problems with electronic brake controls and battery cables. The first recall covers nearly 464,000 Cadillac CT6 sedans and Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 pickup trucks from 2019. Dealers will reprogram the brake computer starting Jan. 27, according to documents posted Thursday on the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration website. The second recall covers over 350,000 2019 and 2020 Silverado and Sierra 1500 pickups. Starting Jan. 27, dealers will inspect the cables and clean the connectors if needed.
55,000 pounds of frozen breakfast burritos being recalled
HOUSTON โ A South Carolina-based food maker is recalling more than 55,000 pounds of frozen breakfast burritos over concerns that they may contain pieces of plastic. The USDA said Tuesday the 3.38-pound 12-pack of El Monterey Signature Burrito Egg, Sausage and Cheese with a best-if-used-by date of Jan. 15, 2021 were sold nationwide. Officials said they were notified of three consumers who reported pieces of white, semi-rigid plastic that were found in the product.
