Showers clear out tonight; drier weather Sunday
Saturday showers will continue to move east and away from southeast Texas through mid-evening, Galveston Island and the Bolivar Peninsula will be the last locations to see the rain exit. We will remain rain-free overnight.
Sunday promises to be drier and marginally warmer, although we will start the day with chilly temperatures near 50 degrees. We'll see a mix of sun and clouds in the morning, but mostly cloudy skies take over in the afternoon as a weak upper level disturbance drifts overhead. It may drop a sprinkle or two on us, but don't cancel any outdoor plans. Any rain will be very light and very isolated.
Sunday high temperatures will be near 70 degrees, so despite the slight warm-up from today it will remain cool for this time of year.
Have a great evening!
