Missing 10-year-old found safe; father charged in death of child’s mother, police say
UPDATE: A missing 10-year-old Carrollton girl was found safe Wednesday morning, hours after she was reported missing, according to the Carrollton Police Department. Rosemary Singer was reported missing shortly after her mother, Maria Romeros Ramos, was discovered dead. Ramos’ ex-husband and Rosemary’s father, Ronald Singer, was taken into custody and charged in Ramos’ death, according to the Carrollton Police Department. Law enforcement officials are searching for the girl’s father Ronald Singer in connection with her disappearance. Amber Alert issued for missing Texas teen believed to be traveling with wanted girlfriend

ITASCA, Texas – An Amber Alert was issued Tuesday for a missing Texas teen who is believed to be traveling with her wanted girlfriend. Itasca police said 15-year-old Lori Johnson is believed to be with 18-year-old Joanna Barrientos. Police said Johnson ran away last week. HOUSTON – A man with an intellectual disability is missing from a home in west Houston since Monday. Zion Xavier Nicholls, 18, went missing around 8:00 p.m. in the 2000 block of Briarlee Drive, Houston police said Tuesday. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap with the words “Vans” across the front in white, a black hoodie, and black jogger sweatpants. Family reunited with dog after losing her days before Hurricane Harvey
NEW CANEY – A family in New Caney is whole again after losing their dog days before Hurricane Harvey slammed into Houston. The family in New Caney almost gave up until a rescue group found her in Sugar land. A volunteer from another organization named, ‘Lost Dogs of Texas’ stepped in and used a special database to find Maddie’s owner. AdThe volunteer from Lost Dogs of Texas was able to contact Rachel’s mother and Maddie was finally reunited with her family. Lost dogs of Texas said thousands of dogs are lost every year.

Authorities are searching for a 27-year-old man who has been missing since Nov. 26, 2020. Zada Mahamadou Zada may have been seen in Houston Thursday, Jan. 28, according to Texas EquuSearch. Calvin Rashall was last located on Dec. 10 in the Westchase area of Houston. HOUSTON – A 20-year-old man on the Autism spectrum is missing the Houston area, according to his family. Calvin Rashall was last seen Dec. 10 in the Westchase area. His family believes Rashall is a suicide risk after being off his medication. Rashall’s family said he is bipolar and functions cognitively and socially at about the level of a 14-year-old child.

33-year-old veteran missing from Houston home since October, mother says
A 33-year-old veteran has been missing from his Houston home since October. Powell had told his mother, who he lives with, that he was stepping out to go to a store. His mother Pinkie Powell said he often shuts down and refuses to talk. A Good Samaritan found him at a bus stop near Dallas, saw his dog tags, called his mother and told her Powell refused to talk. HOUSTON – Alexis Sharkey, a 26-year-old woman, was missing in Houston. The woman’s body was recovered on Sunday night, Sharkey’s mother wrote on Facebook. “It’s with deeply broken hearts that Mike and I want to let you all know that Lexi’s body has been found,” wrote Stacey Robinault. “We cannot begin to thank you all for your love and the kind words you’ve extended to our family! HOUSTON – Two missing children,13-year-old Martha Velasquez Cruz and her 11-year-old brother, Mario Velasquez Cruz, have been found safe, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. UPDATE: Coast Guard suspends search for missing man and woman near Seabrook after bodies matching description found
SEABROOK, Texas – The Coast Guard rescued a 13-year-old girl but ended its search for two other people in the water near Seabrook Wednesday afternoon after two bodies were discovered that matched the description of the missing boaters, officials announced. The Coast Guard said a boat crew arrived on-scene and rescued a 13-year-old girl who told them two other people were still missing. According to the Coast Guard, the missing boaters were a man in his early 60′s and a woman in her early 30′s. Officials said at about 8:27 a.m. Wednesday, a search crew found a body that matched the description of the missing man in this 60s. At about 3 p.m., officials found another body that matched the description of the missing woman in her 30s.
