He was spotted running down Sable Glen wearing black shorts, a blue hoodie and no shoes, deputies said. Man accused of kidnapping ex-girlfriend’s 6-year-old son
SPRING, Texas – The Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office said a 6-year-old boy at the center of an Amber Alert Monday has been found safe. Investigators said the suspect, who is the ex-boyfriend of the child’s mom, beat the woman up before kidnapping him. According to Houston police, the child, who has autism, was found during a traffic stop near Crosstimbers near I-45. After leading officers on a brief pursuit, police said they were able to stop the suspect. 4 said Spears was taken into custody and the boy has been reunited with his mother and grandfather.

HOUSTON – Police believe the body of a 2-year-old at the center of an Amber Alert has been found. According to KCEN-TV, Waco PD spokesman said search crews found the body of a small child in a dumpster early Tuesday morning. KCEN TV reports that Gonzalez’s mother, Laura Sanchez, led police to the dumpster, according to the Waco Police Department. “We did have a massive response to Cameron park because that’s where the call came in at that’s where the mother told us the child had been. What we know through the investigation at this point the child was never at Cameron park,” Bynum told KCEN TV.

Toddler taken in stolen SUV found safe, police say
HOUSTON – A 2-year-old child was found safe after an SUV was stolen with the child inside, police said. Police said they received a call at around 9:20 a.m. Thursday about a vehicle that was stolen. According to officers, the baby’s mother went into a Walgreens located in the 13190 block of Bellaire Boulevard while the child was still in the vehicle. A DPS helicopter and HPD officers then proceeded to look for the SUV. Santos said the child was attempting to cross the street and was carrying his mother’s phone.

MADISONVILLE, Texas – A nearly six-year search for a missing Texas City teen has come to an end after she was found in Madisonville. Heather Renee Inks, 37, was arrested for kidnapping her then daughter Penelope Inks in October 2014, according to the FBI. According to the FBI, Heather ran off with Penelope and left Texas City after Penelope’s father was granted sole custody of her. Heather, who is a former model and actress, created multiple false identities but revealed who she was after being tracked down on April 4 at a Madisonville motel. She was taken into the custody of Child Protective Services and admitted to the hospital for a physical and mental evaluation.

Missing girl found dead in SC; homicide investigation begins
CAYCE, S.C. – A 6-year-old South Carolina girl who disappeared Monday after getting off her school bus was found dead Thursday and a homicide investigation has begun, authorities said. A body of a man was also recently found in Faye Marie Swetlik's neighborhood, Cayce Public Safety Director Byron Snellgrove said. Snellgrove didn't give any evidence to connect the two deaths, but said there was no danger to the public. “It’s with extremely heavy hearts that we announce we have found the body," Snellgrove said at a Thursday news conference where he spoke for only about a minute and took no questions. Investigators sent more than 250 officers to talk with neighbors, used tracking dogs and helicopters to search the area and stopped motorists near the girl’s home to question them.
