An AMBER Alert has been issued for a 12-year-old girl who disappeared Monday evening in Montgomery County, and authorities are asking the public for help locating her.

Investigators say Genesis Mills was last seen around 6:30 p.m. at a gas station on Loop 494 in New Caney.
Genesis is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black long-sleeve shirt and black shorts.
Authorities believe she may be with an adult man who was last seen wearing a green long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans and a blue Houston Astros hat. Investigators have not released any additional identifying information about him.
Police are also searching for a white Ford Transit Connect van with multiple ladders mounted on the roof. Authorities have not released a license plate number or the state where the vehicle is registered.
Anyone who recognizes Genesis, the man she may be with, or the van is urged to contact law enforcement immediately. Investigators are also asking anyone who was at the gas station on Loop 494 around 6:30 p.m. Monday and may have seen Genesis or the vehicle to come forward.
The AMBER Alert remains active as authorities continue searching for the missing 12-year-old. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or contact their local law enforcement agency immediately.
