Fort Bend Christian Academy baseball is off to a strong start this Spring with a stalwart bullpen and bats aplenty, proving that this Eagles’ squad should be considered one of the top TAPPS teams in Houston.

Sugar Land, Texas — Fort Bend Christian Academy students and families gathered on campus on Wednesday, February 1, to celebrate five outstanding athletes as they signed National Letters of Intent to play sports at the collegiate level. Three athletes signed to play football, one signed to play football and baseball, and one athlete signed for cheerleading.

Following Fort Bend Christian Academy track’s superb season in 2022, which was capped by the school’s first TAPPS 5A title for the girls and a bronze finish for the boys, the Eagles’ track program finally had the opportunity to put some Championship gold on their fingers last week.

Despite falling to Fort Bend Christian Academy in the TAPPS State Semifinals, this young LSA volleyball team has plenty to look forward to next season. With talent all across the board, especially that of sophomore setter Kirra Musgrove, the future is bright for the Pioneers.

When he arrived at Fort Bend Christian Academy four years ago, Aaron Carpenter was tasked with calling plays as offensive coordinator for the football team and helping manage Eagles athletics as assistant athletic director.

Taking over Fort Bend Christian Academy’s volleyball program comes with a bull’s-eye target and heavy expectations for Tommy Sustala, who has never coached at the high school level but has nine years of coaching high-level club volleyball.

The 2021 TAPPS baseball playoffs are in full swing with opening-round games happening earlier this week.

HOUSTON - Many athletes strive to get to the State Track Meet in at least one event.

Fort Bend Christian Academy softball has claimed another district crown, going undefeated in district play. FBCA softball is a perennial power in TAPPS Division II and they have their eyes on another state crown. The Lady Eagles won the State Championship in 2018, and you can expect this squad to compete for a State Championship again.
