5-STARS: The Private School Playmakers powered by Texas Citizens Bank

There are so many great athletes in the private school realm in Houston.

VYPE highlights five athletes or teams from across the private school ranks in this edition of Private School Playmakers Powered by Texas Citizens Bank.

Solomon Cole (@TheSolomonCole) - Fort Bend Christian Academy

Fort Bend Christian Academy is off to a great start this season and a big reason has been the Solomon Cole's play at receiver. Cole is coming off his best performance of the year with 125 yards and two touchdowns on seven catches. Cole for the year leads the team with 332 yards. He also has three interceptions, including one pick six.

Kyle Floris - Rosehill Christian

For the second time this season, Kyle Floris raced past 100 yards for the game. In a 31-21 victory over Brazos Christian, Floris rushed for 187 yards and a score on 39 carries. Floris has 429 yards rushing and three scores on the ground for the Eagles this season. Floris has been on varsity since his freshman year and is set to surpass his season rushing total (476) in the next game and is on pace to set a new career-high for yards in a year if he can surpass 721 yards. He also just needs two more rushing scores to set a new career-high for touchdowns.

Xavier Neal (@xavier_neal5) - Lutheran North

Xavier Neal is coming off back-to-back solid performances for Lutheran North. Last week, Neal finished with 162 yards and two touchdowns on nine catches against Legacy Christian Academy. That comes after a 131-yard performance against Westbury Christian the previous game. Neal leads the team with 477 receiving yards this season. He also plays on the defensive side of the ball. Against Legacy Christian Academy he had three interceptions, pushing his season total to five. He also has 28 total tackles for the year.

Gideon Stark - Concordia Lutheran

Concordia Lutheran is coming off a big win over St. John XXIII and a big key to that was quarterback Gideon Stark who finished 11 of 20 for 169 yards and two touchdowns in the win for the Crusaders. A nice performance by him.

Everett Skillern - Second Baptist School

Everett Skillern missed the first two weeks of the season but he is back! And he has come back with a force, in his two games back Skillern has been unstoppable recording six total touchdowns. Skillern is part of the one-two punch coming out of the backfield for the Second Baptist School joining Eli Smith back there.
