2 men found shot to death inside Porsche in southeast Houston, police say
HOUSTON โ Police said they are trying to figure out what led up to a shooting that left two men dead inside a car in southeast Houston Wednesday. Officers said they arrived at the scene just after midnight on Bricker Street and Coffee. According to investigators, the victims, who were in their 20s, were found inside a parked Porsche that was still running. Witnesses told police at least two men were seen running away and have video of them possibly getting away in an SUV.

Driverless boat in Florida spins of control, smashing docks
PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. โ Three men conducting a photo shoot on a boat in a busy Florida river somehow went overboard, leaving the 24-foot vessel unmanned and out of control. The three men told deputies that they accidentally fell into the St. Lucie River along Florida's Atlantic coast on Saturday, leaving the boat unmanned. The boat then straightened out, hit a concrete dock, went airborne and hit a second dock before coming to a stop, the Martin County Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post. One had a minor injury, the sheriff's office said. An investigation into the cause has been turned over to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
2 men killed after car goes under 18-wheeler in north Harris County, deputies say
HOUSTON โ An investigation is underway after two men died when their car went under an 18-wheeler in north Harris County Sunday, deputies said. Deputies said the incident happened on FM 1960 near Richey Road around 10:30 p.m. According to deputies, the big rig was trying to make a U-turn when a sedan went under it. Investigators said they found open containers in the car and the driver didnโt have their lights on.

U.S. Coast Guard rescues 2 men after boat crash in Galveston
GALVESTON โ The U.S. Coast Guard rescued two men Saturday morning after their boat crashed into rocks in South Galveston jetty, officials said. The incident was reported at 9:06 a.m. when the two men called for help after their sailboatโs anchor line separated and directed them toward the rocks. Officials said the boat was sailing with 15 to 20-knot winds. The men were rescued and taken by a helicopter to Galveston Scholes Airport. Officials said they made an attempt to recover the sailboat, but it had sunk and broke apart against the jetty.
3 arrested in bank robbery
HOUSTON โ Three men were arrested in connection with a bank robbery in southwest Houston. Houston police said the men robbed the Wells Fargo Bank on Kirby near Bissonnet on Friday morning. Detectives said the men left the bank after getting an undisclosed amount of cash. The men were tracked down to the 3100 block of Burkett, investigators said. Police said they called for the SWAT team, but the men surrendered before it got to the home.
