SUGAR LAND, Texas KPRC 2s Khambrel Marshall took a look at a painful time in history while visiting a cemetery in Sugar Land. Marshall detailed the story of finding the bodies of the Sugar Land 95 - men and boys who were a part of the convict leasing system in Texas. They are now interred at the Bullhead Camp Cemetery in Sugar Land. In addition to charting that history, Marshall discussed his personal history, including living through the trauma of a cross being burned in his yard when he was a boy living in Arkansas. Houston religious leaders share the role of faith during coronavirus pandemic

Community responds to the Houston Food Bank emergency
A hose at the Houston Food Bank was severed, releasing ammonia into a main storage area and causing 1.8 million pounds of perishable food to be thrown away. It was a big blow for the largest food bank in the United States, but the Houston community rose to the occasion and flooded the facility with cash and support. Feb. 24: Brady on sequester cuts

Brian Claunch was the 45-year-old shot to death after police say he refused to drop what they thought was a weapon.
