On Saturday around 9:30 p.m., San Jacinto deputies responded to a report of a shooting at a residence in the 4400 block of Counts Road in Point Blank, Texas. The other victims conditions are unknown, according to the San Jacinto County Sheriffs Office. According to the San Jacinto County Sheriffs Office, a birthday party was being held for a 4-year-old child at the residence when the suspect arrived and began shooting inside the home. During the initial investigation, deputies noted that the home was dirty but found one shelf drawer completely emptied, according to the San Jacinto County Sheriffs Office.
DPS: San Jacinto County deputy killed in car crash was not wearing seat belt
COLDSPRING โ San Jacinto County officials and deputies are mourning the loss of deputy Bryan Pfluger Sunday morning after he was killed in a car crash Saturday night. State troopers said Pfluger hit another patrol vehicle while responding to a burglary call. During the crash, the deputy was thrown from his vehicle, according to DPS. Pfluger was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to DPS. The deputy in the other patrol car did not suffer visible injuries in the crash but was transported to an area hospital as a precaution, according to DPS.
