The NWS issued a tornado watch for Waller, Harris, Montgomery, Liberty, Polk and Chambers Counties until 7 pm.
A flood watch is now in effect for Madison, Trinity, San Jacinto and Walker Counties until 7 Monday morning.
We’re tracking another round of storms that may bring another 2-4″ of rain with downpours of 6″ inches of rain - to areas already hit hard from last week’s flooding.
Sunday 1:30 PM:
Tracking thunderstorms from I-10 from Katy to the east to the highlands and Trinity Bay.
Areas south of I-10 from Rosenburg, Alvin, Hobby and straight to Galveston Bay.
Areas north of I-10 from Conroe, Huntsville and Livingston.
Sunday 4 PM:
Tracking severe weather from Rosenburg and just east of Katy near I-10 into Houston.
Areas to the north near Kingwood, Conroe and Tomball
Areas to the south near Sugarland.
Sunday 5 PM
Still tracking widespread rain with more severe weather in areas like Conroe, Kingwood and Huntsville.
Sunday Night:
Storms will continue to press southeast, bringing heavy downpours, strong winds and the potential for hail. Storms will continue to fire off behind the main line mainly north of I-10.
Monday Storms Continue:
Monday widespread showers and storms continue with the threat for some to be strong to severe.
