Today’s Forecast:
It is a much more pleasant day today compared to the rest of the week! A cold front lowered out humidity and pushed out the smoke that was causing hazy skies the last several days. Although a front passed through, we are still warm in the mid-80s.
Tonight’s Forecast:
Temperatures will cool quicker tonight than the previous nights due to the lower humidity and winds from the northeast. By 9PM we will be in the 70s. Saturday morning most will wake up in the mid-to-upper 60s - it will feel wonderful!
Saturday’s Forecast:
Most of Saturday is pleasant with partly cloudy skies and highs in the lower-80s. As early as Saturday night a few showers may pop up south of I-10.
Mother’s Day Sunday:
Sunday has the potential to be dangerous. We have a flood and severe weather risk for Mother’s Day. I know a lot of us have plans to celebrate our moms. Make sure you can receive warnings if that is needed. It looks like we have two rounds of heavy rain. One moves in during the morning and the second in the afternoon and evening. Rain totals ranges from 1″-5″. We have a flood risk as well as a severe weather threat from large hail.
10-Day Forecast:
We have another flood threat Monday. Temperatures warm Tuesday and Wednesday with more storms possible Thursday.
