Man accidentally shot, killed by family friend while relaxing in bed in northwest Harris County, deputies say
HOUSTON – Deputies are investigating after they said a man was accidentally shot and killed by a family friend while relaxing in bed in northwest Harris County Tuesday. The person who accidentally pulled the trigger was a family friend, investigators said. Deputies said Peavy’s wife was in the room with him when it happened and the family friend was taken in for questioning. Investigators said Hargrove told them he located a firearm inside the residence after the family went to bed. Man found shot at apartment complex in northwest Harris County dies, deputies say

Deputies said the shooting happened at an apartment complex in the 4200 block of Clay Hill Drive around 3 a.m. The family told deputies they later heard gunshots and went outside to find the victim on the ground. Man found shot on side of road near gas station in Stafford dies in Fort Bend County’s first homicide of 2021, deputies say
STAFFORD, Texas – A man is dead after he was found shot on the side of the road near a gas station in Stafford Tuesday, Fort Bend County deputies said. According to investigators, the 22-year-old man, identified as Camerron Long, was found around 2:24 a.m. on the side of the road at 812 FM/1092. Detectives said after further investigation, they learned that Long was involved in a shootout and was hit multiple times. Surveillance video from the On The Go corner store showed two parties meeting outside the convenience store and opening fire, according to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said the shooting is the first homicide of the year in Fort Bend County.
Teen fatally shot while trying to rob man with fake AR-15, deputies say
HOUSTON – Deputies are investigating after they said a man fatally shot one of two teens who tried to rob him Friday. Deputies said the incident happened around 1:45 a.m. at Forest Creek Apartments in the 5900 block of Uvalde. Deputies said the teens had a fake AR-15. As the teens tried to rob the man, deputies said he then shot one of them, who was 17 years old, and killed him. Deputies said when they arrived at the scene, they found the other teen trying to give the teen who was shot CPR by building #14.
Man fatally shot in southeast Houston; search underway for suspect: HPD
HOUSTON – A man was fatally shot in southeast Houston Wednesday night. Now, police are searching for the man who they said pulled the trigger. Officers said the shooting happened at a Duplex on Bangle Street and Galveston Road at around 10:45 p.m.Police said the victim was pistol-whipped and then shot by a suspect that was hanging around the duplex before the shooting. According to officers, he was dead by the time they arrived. A search is currently underway for the suspect.
Homeowner dies after being shot several times by suspect in Liberty County, deputies say
A man who made a frantic call to the Liberty County Sheriff’s Dispatcher was later found dead inside his mobile home Monday afternoon, according to Liberty County Sheriff’s Office. The call was made around 1 p.m. from Aiden Walker, who said he’d been shot eight times at his home in the Plum Grove area, deputies said. After interviewing witnesses, deputies were able to identify the suspect’s vehicle. Around 3:30 p.m., deputies said the suspect, Samuel F. Depina, turned himself in and was taken into custody. Depina was booked into the Liberty County Jail.
Man fatally shot during family dispute near Rosharon identified
HOUSTON – Family members identified the man shot to death during a family dispute Monday near Rosharon as 38-year-old Maurice Hood. The shooting was reported around 3 p.m. on County Road 368 and FM 1462. Deputies said there was an ongoing family dispute over the past several days, leading up to Monday’s fatal shooting. “A dispute happened and my brother tried to run, tried to escape from that dispute,” Hood’s younger brother, Chris Bradford, said. “My brother, he was one of a kind, man.”Bradford said Hood was visiting his cousins in Rosharon at the time of the shooting.
