THE JUMP: The Biggest Takeaways from the Dan Green InvitationalSome interesting storylines came out of the Dan Green Invitational in The Woodlands over the weekend. VYPE caught up with pole vault champ Katie Schlather from The Woodlands, who jumped 12-feet. The Woodlands Kennedy Doakes is following in her father's footsteps. Ray Doakes was a decorated high jumper in his days at Arkansas and Kennedy will jump at Kansas. He has the state's best jump at 7-feet.

NO MATTER THE SEASON, IF ONE IS LOOKING FOR ZAMARI BRUCE CHECK EITHER THE FOOTBALL FIELD, BASKETBALL COURT OR THE TRACK. Bruce enters his junior year, starring as a receiver and defensive back for the football team, a forward for the basketball team and a hurdler and relay runner for the track squad. When he hit high school, Bruce decided to go out for football again. When asked about Frassati Catholic it is the people and the coaches that make it special, Bruce said, because the coaches push you to be the best. The ultimate dream is to play football for the 2019 College Football Playoff National Champions.

What's in a name? Easton Brenner is a three-sport athlete at Lutheran South Academy, who recently committed to Lafayette College to play baseball. Lafayette College is location in... Easton, PA. Coincidence? Brenner is one of the Big Men on Campus at LSA. He's a WR on the football field, a stud on the baseball diamond and also runs track for the Pioneers.
