The team has been searching for Landry over the last nine days since his disappearance. Landry is still missing. Missouri City church provides update on search for missing Texas State student
HOUSTON โ Jason Landry, a Texas State student from Missouri City, is still missing Friday, according to his church, Southminster Presbyterian Church. Landryโs vehicle was found totaled and abandoned on a dirt mile about 30 miles from campus. According to the church, investigators said dogs led them to a pond, which they later drained. Kent Landry said as long as there is breath in his lungs then there is still hope to find his son. His prayer is that Jason Landry will be home for Christmas.

Texas State coach, accused of racist comments, resigns
SAN MARCOS, Texas โ Texas State coach Danny Kaspar has resigned three months after a former player accused him of making racist remarks. Athletic director Larry Teis announced Tuesday that heโs accepted Kaspar's resignation and that assistant coach Terrence Johnson will take over the program for the upcoming season. In June, former guard Jaylen Shead tweeted that Kaspar disparaged players with racist comments in practices. Shead transferred to Washington State last year. Texas State launched an investigation into the allegations.
