FULSHEAR, Texas โ Two Fulshear officers are recovering after a plane crash in Lordsburg, New Mexico. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the plane crash that happened on Wednesday. Fulshear Police Department posted on its social media accounts that two officers, Adam Schoof and Dilon Rice, were severely injured in the crash. Officials said Schoof and Rice were the only passengers on board the aircraft at the time of the crash. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

In December 2014, an AirAsia flight from the Indonesian city of Surabaya to Singapore plunged into the sea, killing 162 people.

Four people were killed in a plane crash in Hilltop Lakes in Leon County, according to KBTX. Officials said the pilot was having engine trouble and was attempting to make an emergency landing at the Hilltop Lakes airport. According to KBTX, flight records showed a 1984 single-engine plane left Horseshoe Bay Resort near Marble Falls, west of Austin, at 10:00 a.m. Sunday. LEAGUE CITY, Texas โ A pilot was not hurt after his seaplane crashed into Clear Lake on Monday, a trooper said. League City Police received a call that a seaplane had gone down around 5:30 p.m. The plane was upside down in the water when first responders arrived. The pilot told investigators he had landed on the water and was attempting to take off again when a wave hit, sending the plane nose down into the water. Stephen Woodard with the Department of Public Safety said the pilot is 59-years-old.

Plane crashes in San Antonio, killing one, injuring two
(AP) โ One person was killed and two people were injured when a single-engine airplane they were in crashed in a residential area of San Antonio on Saturday, according to Fire Department spokesman Woody Woodward. The aircraft crashed and burned in the back yard of a home, burning some trees but creating no public danger and injuring no one on the ground, Woodward said. The two injured suffered burns and were hospitalized in undisclosed condition, according to Woodward. There were no others on board the Piper PA-28 when it crashed just after 9 a.m. in south San Antonio shortly after taking off from nearby Stinson Field, Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Tony Molinaro said in a news release. Molinaro said the National Transportation Safety Board will be in charge of the investigation into the crash.
NTSB: Extreme reaction of Atlas Air pilot may have caused fatal 2019 crash
WASHINGTON The pilot of an Atlas Air plane that crashed into Trinity Bay last year had problems during his training which may have contributed to his extreme reaction when a type of automatic control was inadvertently activated before the fatal decent, according to federal investigators. Sean Archuleta, who was riding in the jump seat, were killed in the Feb. 23, 2019, crash near Anahuac. The reaction to the slightly abnormal situation was the problem, NTSB investigator Bill English said. Investigators also said that it appears several red flags were missed by an agent who conducted a screening of Aska for Atlas Air. They also said they believe it was inappropriate for Atlas Air to rely solely on the screening agent to catch those problems.

Iranian officials initially blamed a technical malfunction for the crash, something backed by Ukrainian officials before they said they wouldn't speculate amid an ongoing investigation. Oleksiy Danilov, secretary of Ukraine's Security Council, told Ukrainian media that officials had several working theories regarding the crash, including a missile strike. โUndoubtedly, the priority for Ukraine is to identify the causes of the plane crash,โ Zelenskiy said.

Cargo delivery plane crashes in Victoria
VICTORIA, Texas โ The Victoria County Sheriffโs Office, the Victoria Office of Emergency Management and other responders are on the scene of a cargo aircraft that has has crashed near Benbow Road on Monday night. Air traffic controllers lost radar and radio contact with a single-engine Cessna 208 in the vicinity of Victoria around 8:16 p.m. Monday. The FAA says the plane was traveling from Victoria to Houstonโs Bush International Airport. FAA investigators are on their way to the accident site and the National Transportation Safety Board has been notified. The Texas Department of Public Safety and the National Transportation Safety Board have been summoned to investigate the crash.
Husband remembers 71-year-old plane crash victim from Spring
HOUSTON โ Days after a small plane crash killed three people near San Antonio, KPRC 2 learned more about the third victim โ 71-year-old Maureen Garrow of Spring, Texas. Garrow was an avid private pilot and flight instructor whose passion was to teach, according to her loved ones. On the day of the wreck, Maureenโs husband Ronald told KPRC 2 his wife left for Hooks Memorial Airport to lead a training. Ronald, 75, said his wife of 48 years, Maureen, had the true heart of a teacher and loved to fly. The Spring resident earned her colleaguesโ respect as a tenacious private pilot and independent flight instructor.
