The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) said the plane crashed on private property near County Road 416. This is near Brazoria.
DPS Troopers are at the scene of a plane crash near County Road 416 in Brazoria County on private property. Unfortunately one person is deceased. No other passengers were onboard.

On Wednesday, the Texas Department of Public Safety confirmed the victim’s identity as 82-year-old Howard Autrey. DPS clarified last night that no one else was onboard.
The FAA has been notified.
