HOUSTON – Houston police confirm a body was discovered near where I-45 and I-10 intersect, close to downtown.
Police say the call came in at approximately 1:45 p.m.
Authorities say a 911 call came from an individual who reported finding a body near American Statesmanship Park.
Very limited details exist at this time regarding how the individual died or if it is a man or a woman.
Police are investigating.
