The new triple jump record at the prestigious Texas Relays now belongs to Karson Gordon of Episcopal High School. The senior star athlete broke a 44-year-old record with an impressive jump of 53 feet and one and a half inches.

Some of the most well-established collegiate programs are staking their claim for the best that Texas has to offer.

The 2022-23 school year has further proven what a juggernaut the Houston Episcopal athletics program is in the Southwest Preparatory Conference.

The Prospectus

There's no girls wrestling program at the private school level in state, so Episcopal's Thalia Vogelsang competed with the guys - and medaled while doing so.

HOUSTON - When you think of Episcopal's Donovan Jackson a few things come to mind.

The boys kicked their season off with a 66-51 win against Port Arthur Memorial. The Hildebrand Athletic Center, home to the Episcopal Knights, allowed for both teams to be socially distanced. First QuarterThe tip off went to Port Arthur Memorial, heading into their offense starting the game. Port Arthur was aggressive right back fouling left and right. Third QuarterWith Episcopal getting the ball first, Port Arthur came back with a strong full court press.

There will be a new leader in the nest this season for Fort Bend Christian Academy Volleyball. Alex Edwards is set to make her head-coaching debut later this week leading the Eagles. The new head coach played at Katy Taylor HS, went on to the University of Oklahoma and finished her career at the University of Houston. Her coaching career started at Houston Christian and then went to Episcopal before landing at FBCA.
