For area TAPPS teams they are now just two wins away from hoisting that coveted wooden TAPPS State Championship trophy and claiming the spot as the best in Texas. TAPPS 1ACovenant Academy vs Heritage School-FredericksburgIn TAPPS 1A, Convenant Academy out of Cypress will take on Heritage School out of Fredericksburg. It has taken three wins for each of these teams to get to the TAPPS Final Four.

When COVID-19 abruptly took away the 2020 season, it also stymied the chances of area teams repeating as champions. Episcopal was going for its fourth-straight SPC Crown, while Lutheran South Academy and St. Agnes Academy were both looking for their second-straight. PLAYER OF THE YEAR NOMINEE - Lauren Lacson, Frassati CatholicLauren Lacson was a part of the first-place 200-yard freestyle, second-place 200-yard medley relay, third in the 200-yard individual medley and second in the 100-yard backstroke. PLAYER OF THE YEAR NOMINEE - Megan Murphy, The Woodlands Christian AcademyMegan Murphy had a great showing at the TAPPS Swim State Championships. Murphy was a part of the first-place 200-yard medley relay team and the 400-yard freestyle relay and also took first in the 200-yard freestyle and 100-yard backstroke.
