One individual bought a Powerball ticket at a Sugar Land Kroger, located at 18861 University Blvd. and another individual purchased a Powerball ticket at a Houston Quick Stuff Convenience Store, located at 8055 North Sam Houston Pkwy. Another Powerball ticket sold in Texas matched five of the numbers drawn Saturday.

A resident in San Antonio claimed the $5 million prize with a $200 Million Ca$h scratch ticket from Texas Lottery this week, Texas Lottery officials announced last Monday, while another San Antonio-area resident claimed the top prize playing the $1,000,000 Extreme Cash game the next day. Both lottery tickets cost between $20 to $50. According to KSAT, there are still several chances to play and win several million-dollar prizes worth more than $200 million. Lotto Texas grows to $42.75 million, largest jackpot in North America
HOUSTON โ This weekend, Texans have the rare chance to win $42.75 million -- the largest jackpot prize in North America, according to Texas Lottery. โSaturday nightโs Lotto Texas jackpot is the largest lottery prize available on the continent and can only be won by a Texas Lottery player,โ said Gary Grief, executive director of the Texas Lottery Commission. โWeโre hopeful that at least one player wins the biggest jackpot the game has seen in more than a decade this weekend. It only takes one ticket to win.โPreviously, the highest jackpot was $97 million sold in Dallas in May 2010, according to Texas Lottery. So far in 2020, there has only been one Lotto Texas jackpot winner, a Laredo resident, who claimed $17.5 million in January.
Texas Lottery plans to reopen claim centers June 1

THE WOODLANDS, Texas โ Cha-ching! A resident from The Woodlands claimed a second-tier prize of $1 million Monday from Texas Lotteryโs Instant Millionaire scratch ticket game. The winning ticket was the 18th of 40 second-tier prizes worth $1 million claimed in this game, according to a Texas Lottery press release. The Instant Millionaire game, priced at $20, offers more than $519 million in total prizes. The overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.20, including break-even prizes.
