New Caney resident claims $1 million Texas Lottery prize

NEW CANEY, Texas – A New Caney resident is $1 million richer this Monday after claiming a top prize winning ticket in a Texas Lottery scratch ticket game.

The winner purchased the scratch ticket game Ca$h Blowout at Parkway Food Mart, located at 19970 FM 1485 Rd. The claimant chose to remain anonymous.

This was the third of eight top prizes worth $1 million to be claimed in this game.

Several lottery winners were announced in the Houston area last week. KPRC 2 kept track of where the lucky winners purchased their winning tickets.

Time is also running out for a Powerball winner who bought a $1 million ticket from a store on Houston’s southwest side in July 2023-- that still hasn’t been claimed.
