When deputies arrived they located a female victim identified as Patricia Birmingham (48) with multiple gunshot wounds to her chest and head. Investigators arrested the victim’s husband, 57-year-old Carey Birmingham and charged him with murder in this apparent domestic disturbance. Birmingham was booked into the Harris County Jail and his bond was set to $200,000.00.

Spring, Texas – A water well in Northgate Crossing Municipal Utilities District #1 in north Harris County has been taken offline after it tested positive for E. coli on November 30, 2021. Spring, Texas – A new substation for the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is under construction at 655 Rayford Road in Spring and is expected to be completed in February 2022. Upon arriving, deputies administered field sobriety tests and determined that the driver, Ryan Dodge, was intoxicated. It was also discovered during Wednesday’s incident that there were two child passengers while Dodge was driving the golf cart. According to Constable Mark Herman, Dodge was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail having been charged with Driving While Intoxicated With a Child Passenger. Under Texas law a fourth DWI conviction amounts to a third-degree felony. The penalties for a third-degree felony include up to 10 years in prison and a possible fine of up to $10,000.

Spring, Texas – Harris County law enforcement officials are seeking assistance from the public in their search for Brandee Crawford, a Spring woman who reportedly has been missing for ten days. Crawford’s family says she has not been seen or heard from since dropping off her child at school on October 4. Deputies with Harris County Precinct 4 as well as the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit have been at Crawford’s home at the 21000 block of Cottage Stream Court since early this morning. Her family says the boyfriend she has been living with is a convicted felon and has shown violent tendencies before. Spring, Texas – The Texas State Senate’s proposal for redistricting would make significant changes to congressional districts across the state and if adopted would change the representation for many Spring residents. Under the current lines, Spring is split three ways with areas in the 2nd, 8th, and 18th Congressional Districts. If the Senate’s proposal passes, Spring would sit entirely in the 2nd Congressional District, currently represented by Republican Congressman Dan Crenshaw. The 2nd Congressional District would also extend north to cover parts of The Woodlands and would encompass roughly a third of Montgomery County, much of which is currently in the 8th Congressional District, represented by Republican Congressman Kevin Brady. The newly created 38th Congressional District would cover areas that the 2nd currently passes through, including the entirety of Klein and Tomball.

Spring, Texas – At approximately 11:30PM on Sunday, September 26, 2021, deputies with the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office were called to an urgent care facility where a man had been brought in after being shot in the head. The man was then flown to Texas Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The victim’s friends say they were behind a Home Depot on Kuykendahl Road when two men approached their vehicle and opened fire. D. Wolfford, the man was there to conduct some type of unknown transaction. Harris County Sheriff’s Office and Harris County Homicide Investigators are currently reviewing surveillance footage and searching for other clues in the case.

Spring, Texas – Large fights broke out at Spring High School on Thursday, September 23, requiring multiple school administrators and police officers to intervene and briefly halting the school’s regular operations. The fights took place in the school cafeteria and involved numerous students. Cell phone footage showed a chaotic and crowded scene with adults struggling to control the brawl. Principal James Golden sent an email to parents and students acknowledging the altercation and outlining the school’s response. All students involved in the altercation will be subject to the full extent of disciplinary actions available.

Spring, Texas – Two suspects are in custody after robbing a Spring Walgreens Drug Store. The robbery took place at the Walgreens located at 19710 Holzwarth Road near Cypresswood and I-45. After robbing the store of cash, the suspects fled from police and led Harris County Precinct 4 Constables in pursuit of the vehicle. The suspects were apprehended and taken into custody 4 miles away at the Flying J Truck Stop located near W Richey and I-45. Charges are pending on both suspects.
