Her younger brother, whos a physicians assistant, immediately emailed TSA but got an automatic reply that said responses take five days. Fortunately, a TSA administrative assistant saw the email, went looking for the luggage and sent it overnight express to Ohio. The TSA worker said she put herself in the brides shoes and could only imagine how stressful it would be to find out her dress got lost the day before the wedding.

After marrying a Chechen fighter she ran his household and used social media to urge a friend in Germany to join IS. Following the first husband's death she married a fellow German IS member in October or November of 2015 and moved to the group's stronghold of Raqqa. German prosecutors say the couple occupied the home of someone who had fled from IS, which would amount to looting or pillaging under international law and is considered a war crime. She was detained in Turkey in February and arrested on her return to Germany in May, where she now faces trial.

Authorities say it was actually a scheme to commit fraud through the popular wedding website The Knot. Vermyttya Miller, 38, was sentenced to five years in county jail after she attempted to scam the wedding planning website twice in 2016, the California Department of Insurance said. Authorities said Miller filed an insurance claim using falsified medical reports and received a $10,000 check from Tokio Marine. "Insurance fraud is a felony with serious penalties and consequences. CNN has reached out to Tokio Marine and the Vallejo Police Department for comment.
