WEATHER ALERT: Flash flood watch canceled

HOUSTON – Forecasters warned of the possibility of heavy rain and flooding Tuesday as portions of Southeast Texas remain in an unstable weather pattern.

The flash flood watch that was issued for several counties in southeast Texas until 6 p.m. was canceled at 2 p.m.

Classes were canceled for some students in Galveston County because of flooding.

Houston Transtar reported high water on some roads in the Houston area.
