No matter the school district, failure rates for the first grading period, among those learning virtually, are much higher than failure rates during the same period last year, according to an analysis of data conducted by KPRC 2. After reporting 42% of students enrolled in Houston Independent School District failed at least one course during the first six weeks of the school year, KPRC 2 sent requests to 10 Houston-area school districts for failure rates among virtual students vs in-person students. The Spring Woods High School faithful came out in force during the 2020 VYPE Viral Video Madness Bracket Challenge! In a field that started with 16 viral videos from the year, the Spring Woods High School Unified Football game final touchdown play reached the championship showdown. After more than 18,000 votes, the Spring Woods High School moment from the fall racked up more than 11,000 votes to be crowned the winner of the 2020 VYPE Viral Video Madness Bracket Challenge.
