A second arrest has been made in the fatal shooting of an 8-year-old boy in east Harris County in June, according to Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

A suspect accused of fatally shooting an 8-year-old during a drive-by in east Harris County in June has been arrested, deputies said.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office provided updates on a possible suspect after 8-year-old Paul Vasquez was shot and killed during a drive-by shooting in east Harris County on Sunday, June 12.

Homicide investigators have released surveillance photos of a vehicle allegedly used in a drive-by shooting that killed an innocent 7-year-old boy who was struck by a bullet while in his bedroom in east Harris County.

Alexander, who also goes by A.J., was last seen last year near a warehouse on Lumberdale Road in northwest Houston. His uncle says he was wearing an ankle monitor at the time of his disappearance.
