Man in custody after attempted kidnapping in League City, police say
LEAGUE CITY, Texas โ A man is in custody after police said he attempted to kidnap a woman at a gas station in League City. Officers with the League City Police Department said a witness saw a man grab a woman by the hair and force her into a vehicle. There were two people inside who matched the descriptions given by the witness, so officers stopped the vehicle, according to authorities. Police said Demery was charged with aggravated kidnapping, possession of a controlled substance and felon in possession of a firearm. League City police searching for man accused of shooting ex-girlfriendโs boyfriend in the chest
LEAGUE CITY, Texas โ League City police are searching for a man investigators say shot his ex-girlfriendโs current boyfriend. At around 12:45 a.m. Sunday, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 900 block of Olive Street in reference to a shooting. Investigators determined that the victim was shot by his girlfriendโs ex-boyfriend, Gerald Rayshon Ford, according to the League City Police DepartmentFord fled the scene before officers arrived. Ford is described as a black male weighing 180 pounds and standing 5โฒ7โณ tall with brown hair and brown eyes. Deceased suspect and League City police officer from Wednesdayโs shooting identified
LEAGUE CITY, Texas โ The League City Police Department has released the names of the suspect and the police officer who involved in a police officer shooting that left the suspect dead on Wednesday. Matthew Jonathan Krupar, 31, is accused of attacking patrol officer Patrick Bradshaw in a residential community in League City. Bradshaw is an 11-year veteran of the League City Police Department. The officer-involved shooting took place in a residential neighborhood at the 6500 block of Turner Field around 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday, according the League City Police Department. He then assaulted the officer and the officer shot the suspect.
