Traffic Expert

Justina is a New York native raised in the suburbs of Baltimore. Before joining the KPRC 2 team, she was a fill-in anchor and multimedia journalist at WSMV-TV, the NBC affiliate in Nashville, TN. While in the Music City, she covered star-studded events like CMA Fest and even reported live from the Music City Walk of Fame as legends like Patsy Cline and Ed Hardy were honored.  

Prior to Nashville, Justina was a reporter at WTEN-TV, the ABC affiliate in Albany, NY. There she covered notable stories including the deadly 2018 Schoharie limousine crash that claimed the lives of 20 people. Her impactful coverage was shared throughout the United States and made national headlines. She also served as the morning feature reporter and broadcast live from local events.  Additionally, during the pandemic, Justina worked as a contributor for Forbes.

When it comes to reporting road conditions, Justina is no stranger to traffic coverage. She got her start on TV at DC News Now (WDVM-TV) as a Traffic Anchor and Multimedia Journalist. Justina played a key role in developing the first traffic position as the station transitioned into the Washington, DC news market. Before making her way on-air, Justina also interned at FOX 5 DC, WYPR, and WBAL-TV, the NBC affiliate in Baltimore, MD.  

Justina is a Member of the National Association of Black Journalists. Outside of news, her hobbies include interior decorating and kickboxing. Justina loves to hear from viewers, so if you see her around H-Town don’t be afraid to give her a wave.
