As standard protocol, Tabora was relieved of duty pending an investigation by the Internal Affairs Division.

“HPD holds its officers to the highest standard and will take appropriate action up to, and including, termination,” a statement from the department said.

Tabora was sworn in as an officer in December 2011.

KPRC 2 is working to obtain a mug shot of Tabora.
