Off-duty deputy, 10-year veteran, arrested for DWI, authorities say

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas – A 10-year veteran with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office was arrested for driving while intoxicated on May 6, according to authorities.

Deputy Bryan Flynn was stopped for a traffic violation in his personal vehicle by a Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper near I-45 and Woodlands Parkway around 11:30 p.m., authorities said.

Flynn was taken to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Jail, where he was booked for DWI.

He posted bond on May 7 and was placed on paid administrative suspension pending the outcome of the investigations.
