Man got away in a black car with chrome rims, deputies say

PORTER, Texas – Montgomery County sheriff’s deputies said they are looking for a man accused of robbing a Cash Store in Porter, Texas.

According to investigators, the man entered the store on Kelly Joe Smith Road on Aug 29.

The employees said they heard the man cock a gun, and then he threatened them and demanded money. They gave the man some cash and he left the store.

The man was then seen getting in to a black 2006-2013 model Chevy Impala with chrome rims and two white racing stripes down the middle of the vehicle. He was last seen driving on the U.S. Highway 59 northbound service road.

The man was described as black, about 5 feet 11 inches tall, in his late 20s to early 30s, weighing about 175 pounds, wearing a white shirt, navy blue cargo pants, black boots, and a white shirt over his head.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest.
