All southbound lanes on the North Freeway at Memorial Drive are closed after a pedestrian was fatally struck, the Houston Police Department said.
HOUSTON – Drivers are urged to find an alternate route as delays are underway.

18-wheeler crash, hazmat spill shut down IH-45 N northbound at Greens Road
A crash involving an 18-wheeler has caused a full closure on IH-45 North northbound at Greens Road Friday, according to TranStar.
A hazmat spill has been reported as a result of the crash.
Authorities have not said what caused the crash.
