Parents demand answers after 5-year-old boy leaves Clear Creek ISD school and walks home alone
Two Clear Creek ISD parents are now looking for accountability after their 5-year-old son managed to break away from class and walked all the way home during school hours on Friday. The boy, Xander Gonzales, was caught on the parentsโ RING video wandering in front of the home. His parents, Anthony and Barbee Gonzales, said they were shocked, but ultimately relieved that their son was unharmed and home safe. Anthony and Barbee feel blessed to have a big family: 11-year-old Andrew, 9-year-old Amri, 5-year-old Xander, 3-year-old Benjamin, and 1-year-old Joshua. โHe just so happened to see my son,โ Anthony explained.

Clear Creek has jumped out to a quick start this season, going 13-0 and 2-0 in district play. The Millender brothers are combining for over 42 points per game and are getting help from Christian Bradshaw and Mylo Sonnier among others. Fresh drive: This is what the new 288 toll road looks like for one of the first drivers
HOUSTON โ The 288 Expressway is officially open! In addition, the department will open the Brazoria County 288 Expressway, a 5-mile section from the Brazoria/Harris county line at Clear Creek to County Road 58 north. Brazoria County Judge Matt Sebesta said itโs an opening that has been a long time coming. โIt will help with congestion relief on Highway 288,โ Sebesta said in a press release. โWe are excited to see the Brazoria County Expressway completed, allowing our residents to spend less time in traffic and more time at home with their families.โResidents can travel the expressway for free from Harris County to Brazoria County, between Nov. 16-29.

The Clear Creek Wildcats ran their record to 2-1 after roughing up Brazoswood 42-17 through the air, on the ground and on defense. Clear Creek is supposed to face Dickinson but it appears to be cancelled due to the Gators having COVID issues. Brazoswood faces Pasadena Memorial. Residents in Pearland cleaning up after flood damage
PEARLAND โ The rain may be gone, but the water hasnโt quite receded in some Houston neighborhoods. The intersection of Longwood and Myrtlewood drives in Pearland looks like an island because itโs surrounded by water, which has started to recede. The back part of his home is surrounded by several feet of flood water from the Clear Creek. Stasny says he has flood insurance and heโs waiting on an inspector to look at the damage. Now, his family is cleaning up, removing the sheetrock and starting over on a home they just re-built.

HOUSTON โ Rain is the only thing left of Beta and it is moving through the Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee. This batch of rain will continue to push into the mid-Atlantic states Friday before moving off shore this weekend. Here is a look at what Beta left behind in Southeast Texas:Heavy Rain with Storm Totals over 12โฒ'! Beta has dropped over a foot of rain in some locations in southern Metro Houston. The heaviest rain fell from Ellington Field and Pearland to west Houston.

But VYPE has still done what we have always done when it comes to previewing Texas high school football here in Houston. ...CLEAR SPRINGS CHARGERSAfter winning district in 2018, Clear Springs went 6-1 in 24-6A in 2019, losing the crown to Dickinson. Defensively, the marquee talents are 6-foot-4, 225-pound senior DE/ LB Keith Cooper (55 total tackles, 4 sacks, INT) and senior OLB Kyron Smith (38 total tackles, INT). Defensively, the Knights are led by junior DB Tristan Zarella (3 INTs) and junior LB Kannon Garza (60 total tackles). Behind seniors Daevien Williams (44 total tackles) and Cameron Brown, who also plays linebacker, the secondary has some bright spots.
