Investigators said the teen’s car rear-ended another vehicle traveling west on Memorial, sending it into oncoming traffic. The striking vehicle then left the roadway, hitting a power pole and a concrete wall.
One occupant from the second vehicle was transported to a nearby trauma center, while the teen driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are investigating the crash.
