Houstonians get chance to see meteor shower
HOUSTON โ A spectacular sight in the sky will have stargazers in heaven Wednesday morning. At 1:30 a.m. in the east northeast sky, stargazers will get quite a treat to see the Quadrantid meteor shower. "If you live in The Woodlands and you have a good, clear eastern sky, you could see 60 meteors an hour," said Sumners. Sumners said if folks want to see the meteor shower, they will need to move away from the bright lights of the city and go to a dark spot away from tall trees to see it. Experts said this first meteor shower of the year may end up being one of the best of 2012.
