A Columbia-Brazoria ISD school bus driver has been charged after disregarding a construction flagger’s stop sign, leading to a collision with a dump truck.

The Houston Police Department is working the scene of a crash where they said a school bus was reportedly involved in an accident.

Eleven people have been transported to the hospital after two METRO buses crashed in the Memorial City area Tuesday afternoon, according to authorities.

Days before a church bus carrying 16 people flipped over, neighbors in Castilian Village Townhomes said they complained to Mount Zion Baptist Church about what they called “reckless driving.”

All mainlanes are now open after two major crashes, including one involving two Galveston ISD school buses on I-45 near Galveston on Saturday, according to Houston TranStar.
