Texans center Nick Martin out for season after surgery, report says

Ankle surgery keeps Martin off the field

HOUSTON – Houston Texans rookie center Nick Martin will be out for the 2016-17 football season following surgery, according to an NFL.com report.

Ian Rapport reported via Twitter that a recent ankle surgery will keep Martin off the field for the whole year.

Martin attended Notre Dame before he was drafted 50th overall by the Texans in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
