Following his days as a football star at Taylor, Okoronkwo excelled at Oklahoma, where he was named the Big 12 Conference’s Defensive Player of the Year in 2017. The linebacker was then selected in the fifth round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Rams, with whom he won a Super Bowl last month.

Now, he’s coming home -- and he certainly appears excited for the next chapter, judging by his tweet on Tuesday afternoon.

The Okoronkwo news is just the latest in a slew of reported signings by the Texans so far in this offseason.
