HOUSTON – Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant was a legend on and off the court. The NBA star was killed in a helicopter crash Sunday morning in Calabasas.

Bryant had success against every team, but he saw some particularly stellar games against the Rockets.

He scored over 50 points three separate times and high of 53 points twice in both 2006 and 2007.

In 2009 in a playoff game against the Rockets, Bryant scored 40 points. He played Houston a total of 77 times.

Bryant’s dad Joe Bryant played for one year in Houston from 1982-1983.
