Woman accused of stealing baby formula at several stores

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas – A woman is accused of stealing hundreds of dollars' worth of baby formula from several stores.

Kealie Montgomery is charged with theft.

According to Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman's office, Montgomery was detained at the Target store at 19511 North Freeway after employees claimed she stole baby formula.

Deputy constables said Montgomery had $1,500 worth of formula in her vehicle.

Authorities said Montgomery admitted to taking formula from Target, Kroger and Randall's in a small baby carrier, then walkeing out of the stores without paying.

Montgomery, 32, is being held in the Harris County Jail on $5,000 bond.
