Theft suspect caught on camera shopping with woman's stolen credit card

HOUSTON – A man was caught on surveillance camera video making transactions with a woman’s stolen credit card.

The incident was reported at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 5 in the 3100 block of West Holcombe Boulevard.

Police said a woman put her wallet on a table and left her seat briefly. Police said when the woman returned, her wallet was gone.

Within an hour, the woman’s credit card company notified her about purchases being made on the stolen credit card, police said.

The suspect is described as a black man wearing a tan baseball cap with the letters “OU” on the front, a black jacket and tan pants.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
