HOUSTON – A man is in custody after a standoff with SWAT detectives and Houston police officers in north Houston Sunday.
Officers responded to the shooting call around 7:30 a.m. and arrived to find a man shot in the leg.

Police received information that the suspect had fled to a nearby trailer.
The shooter barricaded himself inside the trailer, refusing to come out.
After a few hours, officers convinced the man to come out and they put him in custody.
The wounded man was transported to the hospital but expected to survive.
