SPRING, Texas – A registered sex offender was arrested after being accused of filming a child in a Spring restaurant's bathroom, police said.
Authorities said 24-year-old Darryl Keith Suber Jr. was arrested after he was accused of photographing a child in a public area.

The incident happened Dec. 2 at a Cheddars restaurant in the 21000 block of the I-45 North Freeway. Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman said a girl noticed a man's arm holding a cell phone reach over the stall door and point the phone toward her. She claimed the man was recording her. She immediately left the restroom.
The girl told a family member who confronted the man, who was still in the restroom, Herman said.. The man, identified as Suber, denied the recording and tried to leave, but a family member brought over a deputy who was working security at the restaurant, the constable said.
Suber was held until Precinct 4 deputy constables arrived and arrested him without incident.
Suber, 24, is facing charges of invasive visual recording and attempted promotion of child pornography. He is being held on a $50,000 bail.
