HOUSTON – A 48-year-old man was taken into custody in Houston on Thursday.
Charles Simpson has been wanted since January for parole violation and failure to comply as a sex offender.

The arrest was made as the result of a tip, and a reward of up to $3,000 will be paid to the tipster.
Simpson was arrested in an area north of downtown.
In 1990, Simpson was convicted of sexual assault. In 1993, he was convicted of delivery of a controlled substance. He received parole in 2006.
