HOUSTON – A former Madison High School student was shot near campus forcing a lockdown.
Police said a young male was walking down the street just after 11 a.m. near a home in the 4000 block of Brookmeade at White Heather when someone driving by pulled out a gun and started shooting.

The male was shot multiple times, according to police. He was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in an unknown condition.
Neighbors said he used to be a quarterback for the Madison High football team.
