Teen injured in north Houston shooting, chased by suspects

A teenager was injured in a shooting Friday night in north Houston, the Houston Police Department said. (KPRC)

HOUSTON – A teenager was injured in a shooting Friday night in north Houston, the Houston Police Department said.

The incident happened before 11 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 100 block of Goodson Drive.

Police were called to the scene, and they later learned that a 17-year-old boy had been shot.

He had been walking with a friend, then an older model black SUV pulled up next to them.

Three men got out of the vehicle and started chasing them.

The victim tried to jump over a fence and was shot three times. He was shot twice in one leg and once in his other leg, but he is expected to be OK.

The victims possibly know the suspects. Authorities are investigating the case and looking for the those who were responsible.
