City of Houston opens resource centers for storm recovery

Mayor John Whitmire announced the opening of resource distribution centers across the city to assist residents dealing with the aftermath of Thursday’s storm, which caused extensive damage and power outages.
These centers, located in the hardest-hit city council districts, will provide essential supplies such as ice and water through drive-thru distribution.

Fifth Ward Multi-Service Center 4014 Market St, Houston, TX 77020 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Salvation Army 12507 Windfern Rd, Houston, TX 77064 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Salvation Army 4026 N. Interwood, Houston, TX 77032 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
