Man walking down street with presents in east Harris County dies after being struck by vehicle

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A man was killed after being struck by a vehicle in east Harris County Sunday.
The crash happened just after 6 p.m. Sunday.
According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the crash happened in the 8200 block of Wade Road in the Baytown area.
Gonzalez said a man was walking down the street carrying presents when a vehicle, driven by a woman, struck him.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gonzalez said the driver stayed at the scene.
