HOUSTON – Betsy Oliva-Almaguer’s family has identified their loved one as the 35-year-old woman who was gunned down in Houston in late April.

Her family is asking for answers after she was shot and killed in the 3400 block of Woodchase Dr. on April 27, at around 1 p.m.

At the time of shooting, investigators said they did not believe it was a domestic incident. They said they believe the suspect is a man, possibly in his 30s.

Investigators said the victim and the suspect possibly knew each other.
